Nature's Variety Raw Frozen Bones include meaty ham bones, lamb femur bones, bison bones, split beef knuckles, turkey necks, and meaty beef femur bones.

Nature's Variety Dry Kibble Diets are designed to be rotated freely for variety and optimal nutrition. Emphasis is put on fresh meat as the first and most prominent ingredient of each diet. The grains present in these diets are only whole grains; never inferior grain fractions.   Solid Gold foods are free of all chemical preservatives such as BHA, BHT, and Ethoxyquin (which 'may be harmful by ingestion, inhalation and through skin contact' and is a 'skin and eye irritant according to the manufacturer's Material Safety Data Sheet).

    Flaxseed oil and canola oils are used in all Solid Gold foods.  These unsaturated  oils have balanced omega 3 and 6 fatty acid ratios.  Saturated fats such as those found in meats, poultry and dairy products may contribute to cancer and heart disease.  Animal and poultry fats are never added to Solid Gold foods.

    In addition to Lamb and Fish, Solid Gold uses the following wholesome grains:

• AMARANTH (A grain from Central America) - Called the grain of the future by nutritionists.  It is used for stamina and endurance.

• MILLET - A nutritious ancient grain, thought to be one of the first cereal grains used for domestic purposes.  Known for being a 'soothing', non-allergenic and easily digestible grain.
